❄ the match girl
This really isn’t all too exciting.

Hi hello yes, I’m Jamie. Somehow I aged rapidly and am now currently in my early thirties, and I like…stuff. Mostly stuff I should of outgrown when I was five. Kid shows, cartoons, fart jokes. I look about twelve, post about people I have feelings for a lot, but I’m actually very married (yeah, I know, I’m surprised someone agreed to this, too)and have been for a long while. I’m also someone’s mother(no, really, they let me leave the hospital with her and everything. She’s in 2nd grade now, and hasn’t combusted yet, so I think we’re doing okay so far)and I am not afraid to tell you exactly what went down during birthing that kid. You’ll probably want your uterus to shrivel into a raisin. If you have one. If not, you’ll probably wrap your penis in Saran Wrap from now on.

I’ve had the type 1 ‘beetus since ‘94, which automatically means Wilford Brimley and I are totally bros. I also had(have?) Graves’ Disease(overactive thyroid) and needed two radioactive iodine treatments to nuke the sucker into oblivion. You’ll read me complain about my still-wonky thyroid a lot. My apologies. That probably sums me up, but here, have more:

MOVIES:

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Help!, A Hard Day’s Night, The Breakfast Club, The Avengers, Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, The Exorcist, The Dark Knight, Hot Rod, I Love You, Man,…uh… various other comedy/horror/anything else I can’t remember right this second?

MUSIC:

The Beatles, The Doors, The Lonely Island, Primus, Interpol, Oysterhead, 80’s music, 90’s music, musicy music…blah blah, you know what?. I’ll give anything a listen. Almost.

TV SHOWS:

Hannibal, Saturday Night Live and other various NBC comedies, HIMYM, NCIS, Chuck(I MISS IT), Phineas and Ferb, crime shows, cartoons, cheesy 80’s sitcoms. I watch too much TV and this could go for hours.

BOOKS:

Oddly enough, my tie for favorite book ever would be between Salem’s Lot (but the TV movies…no. Nooo-hoooo-HO.) and Grover and The Monster at The End of this Book. (Not the one with Elmo. Screw that guy.) My second favorite would have to be This is A Book. It is probably the only book I’ve laughed so much at I had tears rolling down my face. Good job, Demetri Martin.

As for reading in general, I like just about anything. Not romance stories, though. Horror/Creepy stories are my go-to-first choice, but I also really enjoy biographies and humor. Also? COMIC BOOKS COUNT, DAMMIT. I’m a nerd for Marvel (D.C., I have no beef with you, but I am a Marvel geek first and foremost.) and Spider-Man has a GODDAMN DASH, MOTHER^$%$^$^@#@, DON’T YOU EVEN NEGLECT THAT SHIT.

FAQ: “What’s the deal with the takeiteasymountainface url?”

well, you see

It’s from Hot Rod and if you’ve never seen that movie, check yourself before you whatever that snappy phrase is.

Hi and enjoy your stay, or something.
