Me when I’m forced to go anywhere.
Good lord, that practice just won’t go away!
lmao apparently every doc’s office here has an Affleck hidden somewhere. I like my regular doctor, he’s good if you have a cold/infection/whatever but won’t take over for thyroid issues-and he was fine with referring me when I told him nurse guy at the current endos left. It’s the receptionist that’s kind of an airhead. She’s a sweet woman, but shes so scatterbrained-I mean, I would be too, there’s a ton of patients and only one receptionist per doctor there, so yeah, I understand it’s hard to keep track of everyone. But seriously, when I said the newer endos I’m trying to get into suggest they call, she kind of ehh’d at first. Hoping she calls! I’ll keep on top of it. I also found an ENT that does practice in thyroid disease, so I shot a message just making sure they take my insurance and if so, I’m going to make an appointment and just explain HEY LOOK AT THIS THYROID UP IN HERE PLZ AND THANK
I have spent the last couple of weeks playing phone tag just trying to get that freaking referral over to the Strong endocrine team. :\ The receptionist at my regular doctor says she faxed the forms, Strong says no, so now the receptionist said she’ll call-which is what Strong suggested they do in the first place, and what I mentioned last Friday to them when I stopped in to pick up a script, so bleahhhhhhhhhh. Let’s hope she calls them. I see Dr. Eeyore (current endo) Friday but I want to move on, but I’m keeping the appointment just so no scripts through him run out.
